Textiles week at CaravanTurkey Gokpinar Cultural Center

Learn to make your own textiles with a professional fashion and textile designer, inspired by Turkey's textile heritage and landscape!

Some of the world's most beautiful and luxurious textiles are made in Turkey - from rich, colourful silk pashminas to thick cotton hamam towels and bathrobes, not to mention beautuiful carpets and kilims that are famous worldwide . Use these, and the beauty and tranquility of the Turkish countryside, as inspiration to create textile pieces that are both unique and a memory of a specail holiday.

Courses run all year round for individuals and small groups.

At Gokpinar, a village of 100 people,  just 10 minutes from the coast, you will be bathed in beauty and tranquility. This old Yörük village on the Aegean Coast of Turkey, feels a world away from the tourist trail. Our cultural center is set on a hilltop overlooking the village and the mountains' pine forests. We are only 10 minutes' drive to the beach and 40 minutes from Bodrum.

Come and enjoy textile arts with us in our idyllic retreat in Southern Turkey!
